Teresa Jurgens-Kowal

Valuing the Customer - WAGILE Product Development

Teresa Jurgens-Kowal is passionate about innovation.  She is an author, mentor, coach, and trainer.  Teresa founded Global NP Solutions to help individuals and organizations learn, adopt, transform, and sustain innovation.  Teresa coaches executives and management to improve innovation performance.  Teresa frequently presents on innovation, design thinking, and product development.  She is co-editor of the 2nd edition of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) Body of Knowledge, and has released The Innovation ANSWER Book, a guide to building innovation leadership.

Do your new products launch with mediocre market reception?  Your innovation process might be to blame.  Traditional waterfall processes become bureaucratic, but Agile systems have not delivered on their promises.  New product development fails due to poor product designs and misunderstanding of the markets.

Enter “WAGILE” New Product Development.  WAGILE is a hybrid product development process.  Implementing WAGILE leads to increased collaboration and reduced time-to-market.  In this session, you will learn how to quickly and easily implement a WAGILE product development process in your own organization.

Jason Scott

Transformational Program & Portfolio Leadership that #GSD

From the start of his career spent jumping out of helicopters as a rescue swimmer in the United States Navy, J. Scott has a history of leadership, servanthood, and bearing witness to the transformative power of getting sh*t done. Since starting 120VC he’s overseen the global transformational efforts within organizations such as DirecTV, Trader Joe’s, Blizzard Entertainment, Sony Pictures, Mattel, and others.  His team’s unique, irreverent approach to change has generated breakthrough results. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, J. Scott is author of “It’s Never Just Business: It’s About People,” and “The Irreverent Guide to Project Management”.

If you afraid of heights, uninterested in developing mad skills, or a crybaby, this workshop isn’t for you. However, if you believe in the transformative power of getting sh*t done, you can’t miss this workshop. If you are a Project, Program, Portfolio, Product, Scrum Master, Organizational Change Manager, Operations, or HR Manager, you were hired to achieve transformational results and enable the team to get sh*t done. You were essentially hired to change things. 100% of this presentation is about putting how-to techniques in your hands.

Ruth Pearce

Dancing in the Moment/ Leading and Coaching from Strengths

In 2016, experiencing burnout, Ruth embarked on a Certificate in Positive Psychology. She discovered three levers that would define her journey forward:

VIA Character strengths – our positive essence

Other people REALLY matter

We are experts – when we have a little help.

INspired by the Archimedes quote “Give me a lever long enough … and I will move the world”, Ruth started ALLE LLC (A Lever Long Enough).

In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic turned the world on its head. Working part time for VIA Institute on Character, coaching groups and training others to do the same, Ruth joined with respected colleagues to create In It Together Coaching.
