Corporate Ambassador Program
Who we are
- Corporate Ambassadors are a group of volunteers who act as liaisons between PMI’s Dallas Chapter and their respective companies ensuring alignment between the groups.
What we do
- Work with our PMO, management team, sponsor and/or human resources department to promote the PMI Dallas Chapter and what it has to offer.
- Focus on increasing engagement and membership of PMI members at our respective companies.
- Attend bi-monthly meetings earning 1.5 PDUs and attend at least 6 PMI Dallas events annually.
- Connect and share information with other corporate ambassadors.

How to become a Corporate Ambassador
- Sign-up through the PMI Volunteer Network, Opportunity ID: 44389 Corporate Ambassador.
- Sign-up for the next bi-monthly meeting on the calendar.
Best Practices for Company Ambassador Involvement
- Give permission to have your name published in the PMI Dallas Chapter Newsletter and website stating that you are the contact in your company for questions about PMI Dallas Chapter.
- Proactively establish yourself as the focal point within your organization for communications about PMI Dallas Chapter.
- Actively participate with other PMI Dallas Chapter Committees to develop and implement methods to attract membership interest and involvement within your organization.
- Obtain an executive sponsor willing to support your efforts to promote professionalism in project management. Solicitations will not be directed to this person. However, sponsors may be invited as guests and recognized during membership meetings.
- Attend six (6) regular PMI Dallas Chapter membership meetings per year (ideally every month).
- Promote the value of the PMI project management methodologies/benefits and the PM profession.
- Build your own distribution list for potential members and send informative emails to encourage them to attend PMI Dallas Chapter events.
- Coordinate a mini-symposium on project management in your company to communicate the value of PMI and PMI Dallas Chapter membership.
- Create an intra-company newsletter or website containing success stories about the value of PMI Dallas Chapter participation.
- Work with your PMO, management team, Sponsor and/or human resources department to promote PMI Dallas Chapter goodwill.
