Lee R. Lambert, CEO, PMP

PMI Fellow -- A Founder of the PMP

Lee R. Lambert is considered throughout the world as one of the project management profession’s thought leaders.  He has been spreading the PM word for over 50 years and was one of the Founders of the PMP.  Lee was recently named to the Project Management Institute (PMI) Steering Committee for the PMP.  He has been recognized by the PMI as one of only 85 PMI Fellows and in 2024 he received the Distinguished Leader in Project Management Award from the Industrial Engineers & Operations Managers (IEOM) Society.    He brings a “real world” message to those hoping to excel in their role of managing projects.  His unique and humorous style creates an enjoyable and productive learning environment.

Lambert has implemented four enterprise-wide project management information systems and his work in developing High Performance Teams has been judged a miracle.   He has prepared and delivered user training to thousands of employees at AT&T, IBM, General Electric, MicroSoft, Roche and countless others.  His value-add consulting and training has been instrumental in creating successful PMOs to drive rapid implementation. He has provided “public” training programs for more than 50,000 professionals in 51 countries.  Lee loves sharing his experience and knowledge on a variety of project management methodologies.

I see “things” before they happen. I anticipated the growth of the PM profession long before the PMP was introduced in 1984. I understood the impact of Agile thinking long before the Manifesto was published in 2001. I lobbied for using automation to improve decision support information well in advance of the aggressive introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in 2023.In this presentation I will explore the future of project management and what lies ahead for those that have chosen this career path. Join me on this clairvoyant’s journey into the future. It is your career. What I share with you will help you manage it!

Kimia Penton

Kimia Penton is a songwriter, recording artist, Tedx speaker and Organizational Psychology professional, based in Dallas, Texas. Kimia is also a Director of Project Management for a Fortune 10 company, based in Dallas, Texas. Combining her love for the performing arts, organizational psychology, and project management, Kimia has developed a framework for supporting creatives with their project success and career development for working professionals. Kimia believes we should develop the whole self to build a holistically fulfilling career.

As a musician, her music is a fusion of Americana, Pop, Jazz, and world music and her poignant lyrics and heartfelt vocals share the life experiences of this well-traveled, international artist. Her music is written to encourage greater self-awareness and to build an authentic community. Founder of independent label and production company KimiaQProductions, and the Dallas Coalition for Live Music, Kimia writes and produces for artists she believes in, hosts events to facilitate community for creatives and leads an annual benefit concert to drive awareness for local charities.
