Trouble Logging In?
What's My Username?
Your PMI Dallas Chapter Website login username is your PMI Member ID, which is generally a 5-8 digit number. NOTE: Don't confuse your PMI Member ID with your PMP number.
You can find your PMI Member ID Number in one of the two ways:
- Log in and check myPMI section of the national PMI website
- OR -
- Use the Forgot your password webpage of the PMI Dallas Chapter website to have your username emailed to you. NOTE: You must use the email address on file with the national PMI website.
Why Isn't My Login Working?
If you're getting an error when trying to log in to the PMI Dallas Chapter website or when using the Forgot your password webpage, it's likely you are encountering one of the below problems.
- You just recently joined the PMI Dallas Chapter. It can take up to five (5) business days for your membership information to synchronize from the national PMI database to the Dallas chapter. Please try again in a few days.
- You aren't a current member of the PMI Dallas Chapter. You may not have joined the PMI Dallas Chapter yet, or your membership has expired. See instructions in Join the PMI Dallas Chapter.
- You're using the wrong username. Please see instructions in What's My Username?
- You're using the wrong password. Please see instructions in What's My Password?
- You're using the wrong email address to retrieve your username/password. Log in and check myPMI section of the national PMI website to verify which email address you have on file.
Join the PMI Dallas Chapter
To become a member of the PMI Dallas Chapter, you must first have a current membership for the national PMI organization. Once that's complete, you'll have the option to add Chapter membership through the myPMI section of the national PMI website.
After you join the Dallas Chapter, it can take up to five (5) business days for your membership data to synchronize with the Dallas Chapter's database, after which you will be able to log in to the PMI Dallas Chapter website. See the Trouble Logging In? page for more information.

PMP Exam Prep Courses
You can find a Registered Education Provider (REP) through the Professional Development section of the National PMI website.
If you are a member of the PMI Dallas Chapter, you have access to several Chapter-provided PMBOK-based courses that can help you achieve your PMP Certification. To browse through the current Dallas Chapter course schedule or register, visit the Calendar.
The PMI Dallas Chapter cannot endorse specific classes, but we encourage you to attend our Dinner or Breakfast Meetings to network with other PMs and gain insight into what courses they found helpful. Most PMI Dallas Chapter events include opportunities to earn PDUs. See the Calendar for a listing of events, as well as how many PDUs each event is worth. Instructions on submitting PDUs for Dallas Chapter events are available from the Calendar Quick Links.
You can also earn PDUs by becoming a PMI Dallas Chapter Volunteer.
The PMI Dallas Chapter offers Member Orientation sessions at 5:45 p.m. before the Monthly Dinner Meeting of the following months: January, March, May, July, September and November. No registration is required to attend this session. Members may attend the Member Orientation session without attending the dinner meeting. See the Registration desk at the Monthly Dinner Meeting to find the assigned room for the Member Orientation.
The Member Orientation session will help you understand the many benefits of both national PMI and Dallas Chapter memberships.

PMI Dallas Chapter Meetings are a great way to network with other Project Managers and hear from interesting speakers in the field. You can find Chapter Meeting schedules, registration, and speaker information in the Calendar.
For those seeking employment or employees, our Monthly Dinner Meetings feature our "green dot/blue dot" program, where those with positions to fill wear green dots on their name tags, and those looking for jobs wear blue dots on their name tags. You can look for "green/blue dot" folks before and during the meeting, and there's a designated "green dot/blue dot" networking session after the meeting.

Volunteering for the PMI Dallas Chapter is a great way to meet new people, network with other PM, and earn PDUs at the same time. There are always plenty of available opportunities to volunteer, and the PMI Dallas Chapter will work with you to select the position that best fits your availability and skill set. Contact information for our members is confidential, and we cannot distribute it. The best way to talk to our members is to attend our Chapter Breakfast or Dinner meetings, which are open to both members and non-members.
