Speaker Biography

Valerie is an accomplished Executive Leadership Coach. She has provided one-on-one leadership coaching for leaders and managers for over 12 years; she consults on talent and leadership development, assessment tools, and leadership skills. Her clients represent a variety of companies in technology, healthcare, energy, consumer products, retail, non-profits and government.

Her coaching specialty areas are:

  • Generational workplace

Her article on “Generational Similarities” was featured in September 2016 issue of Choice Magazine, the global coaching publication. This article was based on real challenges facing leaders and business owners today with a diverse generational workplace.

Valerie is certified by the global standards organization, ICF at PCC level; she mentors and assesses new coaches as part of their coaching certification. She is certified in over 10 assessments and 360s which gives her flexibility and adaptability to work in various organizational cultures as a leadership coach and as a facilitator of improved team performance.

Her background includes 20+ years of leadership experience at ATT and EDS in product management, financial analysis, economic analysis, and regulatory affairs. This business experience along with her entrepreneurial success provides her clients a perspective that mirrors their competitive and complex business challenges.

Keynote Synopsis
Current environment is characterized by people working in the multi-generational workplace. Some organizations have “cultures” and leadership styles tied to “previous” generations even though most of their employees are younger Boomers, Gen. Xers and Millennials and a new generation, the post 9/11 generation in their companies. This presentation answers how leaders need to “lead” and engage the newer generations.
Learn the key leadership skills for success. The agenda covers the definition of a generation and the characteristics pf each pf the generations. And the attendees will have 4 Take-aways:

Vegetarian Meals
If you would like a vegetarian meal, please place your order by Thursday the week before the dinner meeting.  Vegetarian meals may not be an available option the day of the event or if you register at the door.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:  
Full refunds will be granted if request is submitted before the defined early bird deadline identified for the event. Partial refunds of 50% of the course registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation request is received after the early bird deadline but prior to the day of delivery for the event. Please refer to the Refund and Cancellation Policy for additional information.
