Speaker Bio - Cynthia Brewer, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, ITIL is a PMO consultant and a member of the PMI Global Alliance PMO Judging Committee for 2019 and 2020 

Cynthia is an accomplished, innovative, and visionary PMO and Project Management leader with more than 20 years of vast experience in the Health Care, Transportation, Energy, Manufacturing, Financial, Consumer Industries, and in the U.S. Public Sector. Her ability to analyze needs, identify risks, establish strategies, and lead high-performing teams to success have proven to be valuable assets and contributed to her being invited to join the PMI Global Alliance PMO Judging Committee. Her areas of expertise include content management, project management office start-up, procedure creation, and mentoring.

Keynote Synopsis

Cynthia will talk about the Global PMO Alliance and the annual competition for PMO of the year.  She will talk about the criteria used in determining which PMO organizations should be considered finalists and share some of the projects that winning and finalist organizations presented.  Cynthia will also share her PMO experience in Fortune 500 companies and explain how you can get your organization's PMO involved.  She will also have some tips for people who are interested in doing this type of volunteer work on a judging committee.
