Speaker Biography

Thomas Rajan is the Vice President, Compensation & Benefits for American Airlines. In this role, Thomas leads the design, execution and operations of all compensation, benefits, and employee health programs in support of a global workforce powering the world's largest areline.  He took on this role after serving as Managing Director of Global Learning for American overseeing all people development and talent strategy. Prior to (re)joining American in 2017, Thomas held a variety of leadership and advisory roles at private and public sector institutions such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, McKinsey & Company, The Boeing Company, US Airways, British Airways & America West Airlines. Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) Summa Cum Laude in Finance from Arizona State University.

 

Keynote Synopsis

What’s standing in the way of achieving your true leadership potential while also supporting the needs of your own team and the thousands of lives you impact every day in your role? This session will allow you to reflect on this by considering the three most important questions that every leader should be asking themselves every day. For over two decades, Thomas Rajan has been asking these questions of himself and the organizations he’s worked with and for across the private and public sector as a management consultant, and as a functional leader including as the former head of global learning and development for American Airlines. If you’ve ever thought about your calling as a leader and how you can be even better, then you won’t want to miss this!

Cancellations and Refund Policy:  
Full refunds will be granted if request is submitted before the defined early bird deadline identified for the event. Partial refunds of 50% of the course registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation request is received after the early bird deadline but prior to the day of delivery for the event.
