August 2020 Dinner Meeting: Project Management from Board of Director Perspective with Michael Fung
Michael Fung is a seasoned executive who is currently on the Board of Directors at FranklinCovey, Floor & Décor, and 99 Cents Only Store. Throughout his multi-decade career, Michael held multiple C-level positions and the most prominent one was the Chief Financial Officer as Walmart U.S.
Michael joined Walmart in 2001 as Vice President, Finance and Administration for Global Procurement. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Internal Audit Services in February 2003 and was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer Walmart U.S. in 2006.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Michael has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sensient Technologies Corporation, a global manufacturer of colors, flavors, and fragrances; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Vanstar Corporation, a computer reseller and network integrator; and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Bass Pro Shops, Inc., a direct mail and retail company of sporting goods. Michael has also been the Vice President and Corporate Controller for Beatrice Companies, Inc.
Michael was the first person in his family to go to college, and started his career with the accounting firm of Deloitte Touche in Chicago, Illinois.

Full refunds will be granted if request is submitted before the defined early bird deadline identified for the event. Partial refunds of 50% of the course registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation request is received after the early bird deadline but prior to the day of delivery for the event.
