My name is William Davidson but everybody calls me Red. I’ve been a chapter member since 2004 and have been a volunteer in the education function since 2016. More recently, I became one of the chapter’s Disciplined Agile Champions. Over the years (I started coding for money in 1983), my roles/titles have included Team Leader, Project Manager, PMO Lead, Scrum Master and Agile Coach predominately in large IT shops.

I’m honored to serve as your newly elected VP of Education. The educational needs of our chapter have expanded now that Discipline Agile has become part of the PMI portfolio. As VP of Education, my goal is to provide a wide range of educational opportunities covering all the methods under the PMI umbrella. I envision both in-person and virtual workshops and seminars covering traditional plan-driven Project Management as well as leadership development, Agile/Disciplined Agile and Portfolio Management.

As VP of Education, my job is to engage the vast wealth of talent here within our chapter to find those who would like to share their knowledge and experience as well as utilizing the vast array of online materials and webinars that are available.

Please reach out to me via [email protected] if you have an educational need or a desire to share your knowledge and experience.

On behalf of the chapter, we thank William for sharing his skills and professional experience with the Dallas PMI membership.
