Morris L. Vincent has volunteered for the Dallas Chapter for almost 10 years. His current position is AVP of PMI Dallas Registration in the Membership team. Morris joined the Chapter as a new PMP in 2010 because he wanted to connect with other professionals and expand his knowledge in project management. During one of the meetings he was approached by the Registration Director (Ginan), who encouraged him to volunteer for the chapter’s dinner meetings instead of just attending them.

In addition to being an AVP on the Registration team he represents the PMI Dallas chapter as an RCC at the NTTA. He also volunteers his time outside of the chapter with the Humane Society.

Mr. Vincent is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from LeTourneau University in Business Management. Morris’s daytime role is a PMO Manager at the North Texas Tollway Authority.

Morris feels that he has benefited from his volunteer experience in the Dallas PMI Chapter in several ways. He has connected to the profession and meets and greets every person who attends our dinner meetings.

He has broadened his knowledge of the changing trends and technologies involved in project management through the presentations and educational opportunities of the chapter. He has met a lot of new friends and hired members of the chapter to work in his organization.

On behalf of the chapter, we thank Morris for sharing his skills and professional experience with the Dallas PMI membership.
