Keynote Synopsis

Join us for a special evening of "PM Talk" - an evening of short interactive conversations with our PM Toastmasters presenters on "Project management ideas worth sharing!" This is a lively series of 15 minute presentations on PM topics designed to keep the audience engaged and informed.

Elaine F Lee, Speaker

"How You Communicate Impacts the Management of Your Project and Career"

Elaine Lee, PMP (ACS, ALB) has been a project manager for over twenty years with the focus in the telecommunications industry.  Elaine works for GTT Communications and serves as Vice President of Education in our Dallas PMI Toastmasters Club.  She has been a member of Toastmasters for 10 years serving in leadership positions in the district and achieving Advanced Communicator Silver and Advanced Leader Bronze. Elaine is active in her church choir and the Dallas Trinity Rotary club. https://www.linkedin.com/in/elaineflee/  - Elaineleepmp@gmail.com

This speech will highlight these three points:

  •          One on one conversations and their impact on successful projects.
  •          Your personal communication style and how you interrupt information.
  •          How do you deal with conflict due to a miscommunication?

Mark Lysell, Speaker

“How to Use Your Friends and Not Make Enemies”

Six-year member of PMI Dallas Toastmasters Club, Mark Lysell has brought us thought provoking topics such as “Why Waste Your Time Managing Your Time?”

Currently serving as Metro Division Director for District 50 Toastmasters organization, Mark has applied methods of motivation to the field test.

Grettel Molina, Speaker

"Time Matters!"

Grettel is a Project Manager, Civil Engineer, currently working as a Project Management Consultant for PMAlliance.  She is passionate about improving results through project management techniques.

The core of a project planning and control methodology is to manage the time dimension of projects to achieve success. It should facilitate obtaining time-based commitments from team members to generate a network-based project plan. The plan helpls project managers to track progress while continually reconfirming team member commitment towards meeting deadlines.
