PRESENTATION
Over the last ten years, the growth and use of Project Management has exploded in US corporations and the US Federal Government. According to the Project Management Institute, there are an estimated 16.5 million people who work in project management worldwide. Today, 92% of senior executives globally agree that utilizing project managers is an effective way to ensure success, and 65% currently employ professional project managers. Moreover, up to 67% of Fortune 500 corporations now have a project management office in place...project management has never been more valuable or hot! As the economy recovers, there has never been a more critical time for teams to effectively plan, manage and close out their projects on time, per spec and on budget! Projects are everywhere in a typical corporation - engineering, product development, operations, manufacturing, mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, marketing, IT systems development and implementation, process improvement initiatives, construction and renovation, facility relocations and startups, etc.
Project Success Method (PSM) PSM requires no previous project management experience or certifications. It develops consistency in the way a project team plans, schedules, manages and closes out projects. It teaches diverse groups of managers a common project methodology in as little as two days as opposed to traditional PMI project management training, which can take six to 12 months to get everyone on the same page. PSM involves hands-on practical training, so managers can apply what they learn immediately to their work environment. It is a proven and fire-tested practical methodology which helps organizations plan, schedule, execute and successfully complete virtually all types of projects regardless of size, scope, location, culture or industry. It does not require the upheaval of your group, systems or processes in order to be successful. The Project Success Method's bolt-on application meshes well with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other disciplines and processes which may already be established and in use in client companies.
