Scholarship

The PMI Dallas Chapter has established three scholarships: James Rankin Memorial Scholarship, Wayne K. Latham Project Management Scholarship, and the Dwaraka R. Iyengar PMI Dallas Chapter Area Scholarship.

James Rankin Memorial Scholarship
In honor of one of the most dedicated members of the PMI Dallas Chapter's Education Committee, the PMI Dallas Chapter established the James Rankin Memorial Scholarship. This $2,500 scholarship is awarded annually to a student of project management in the DFW area.

Wayne K. Latham Project Management Scholarship
Wayne K. Latham, past VP of Marketing and VP of Education for the PMI Dallas Chapter was instrumental in the development of the PMP Exam Review and the Registered Company Coordinator (RCC) programs. The RCC program has been so successful that chapters all over the US have copied this program. The $2,500 Wayne K. Latham Project Management Scholarship was established as a token of appreciation to Wayne's ingenuity and dedication to the chapter for 12+ years.

Dwaraka R. Iyengar PMI Dallas Chapter Area Scholarship
This scholarship was developed in honor of Dwaraka R. Iyengar, an outstanding and dedicated volunteer who joined the board in 1998. Dwaraka's key volunteer roles included VP Education, Chapter President, and Past President.
